The Project:

The Root emphasizes the empowerment of the African American community through news, information, and entertainment on a daily basis. The team is lean, hardworking, and dedicated to delivering best of class content and experiences to a loyal audience. 

 

The Root regularly produces events in select markets as custom sponsorship opportunities, facilitating brand engagement with the audience in real time. Young, Fabulous, Female is one of those events.

 

Objective

  • Celebrate the young fabulous women of our community, demonstrate leadership and offer opportunities for our audience to hear from women who serve as role models to the community.

  • Highlight the sponsor without compromising the authenticity of the event/experience.

  • Introducing the audience to the then new Toyota Rav4.
